Culinary Support Staff

As a Kitchen Operations Aide at Wendy's Lacombe, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen items, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items while ensuring all food safety standards are met.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand when necessary.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of food quantities used and assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, and manage kitchen waste effectively.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment that may involve handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks. You will be expected to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
Qualifications- Education: No formal degree or certification is required.
- Experience: Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
- Personal Attributes: Must demonstrate reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and a focus on client satisfaction.
This position offers group insurance benefits and a permanent employment duration with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
