About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Next Power Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labor and material costs for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and delivery
    • Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure compliance with budget and scope
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates and project scope
    • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Business Development
    • Participate in business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and grow the company's presence in the construction industry
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
