We are seeking a skilled Cross-Platform Reporter to join our team at CBC/Radio-Canada. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for developing and producing engaging news content for various platforms, including television, radio, and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and gather information on current events in the Atlantic region
  • Develop and produce news stories, reports, and interviews for various platforms
  • Use digital tools to integrate elements such as text, graphics, audio, and video to achieve desired functionalities
  • Produce visual content, such as photos and illustrations, tailored to the interface and following CBC/Radio-Canada branding guidelines
  • Script, edit, and narrate reports, as well as draft copy for different platforms
  • Deliver on-air reports and inform newsroom management of any events warranting a news flash or special coverage
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in journalism or a related field
  • Extensive general knowledge and in-depth knowledge of current events in Acadie
  • Solid command of the work language: French
  • Intermediate proficiency in English
  • Ability to port live content to different platforms
  • Familiarity with content management tools such as WordPress, Scoop, and iNews
  • Good knowledge of audio/video management systems like Avid NewsCutter, Dalet Plus, and Media Central
  • Valid driver's license
