About the Role:

This role is for a communications and marketing expert who will work in Peru with Cuso International to create high-quality communications materials that demonstrate the impact of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that showcases Cuso International's work in Peru.
  • Collaborate with the Country Representative, Program Managers and Country Team to create engaging communications materials.
  • Support the creation of content and development of high-quality, attractive and powerful print and digital communication materials.
  • Write, produce and disseminate stories that capture and demonstrate the value of international volunteering and the work of our partner organisations.
  • Take photos and videos, produce articles and disseminate them on social media and different media outlets if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in journalism, communications, digital marketing, political science, graphic design or similar.
  • Handling of audiovisual tools (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, A. Premiere, Coreldraw).
  • Video editing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Latin America as a communications consultant, graphic designer, etc.
  • Experience in research and interviewing.
  • Skills in graphic design software, video editing, photography.
  • Good interpersonal and intercultural skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Creativity, good judgement and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong command of the Spanish language (written and oral).
