Job Description

Job Title: Casual Office Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a Casual Office Support staff member to provide administrative support to our Elementary and Secondary Schools in the main office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front reception duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Assist with safe arrivals, student and/or staff attendance support, and data entry.
  • Support different administrative functions, including Finance, Payroll, Facilities, and Human Resources.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to accept assignments on an as-needed basis throughout the school year.
  • Availability during the day, full or half-days (Monday to Friday).
  • Office administration skills and experience, or experience working in a school environment.
  • Professional training/diploma (e.g., Finance, Payroll, and Human Resources) is an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to use Google applications (including email, docs, sheets, etc.).
  • Bookkeeping skills is an asset.
