Sales Supervisor Job Description at Surplus Electrical Equipment
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Surplus Electrical Equipment. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and driving sales growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
* Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our sales targets.
* Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
* Establish work schedules to ensure that our sales team is working efficiently and effectively.
* Sell merchandise and ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our sales strategy.
* Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
* Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that our sales team is working together effectively.
* Manage cash and ensure that our financial transactions are accurate and secure.
* Train workers in duties and policies to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
**Requirements**
* 1 to 2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Work Environment**
* Work Term: Permanent
* Work Language: English
* Hours: 40 hours per week
