About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at 1414728 BC Ltd. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Lead and Motivate a Team

Supervise and train a team of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Requisition and manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Monitor and Improve Quality

Ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality by monitoring and improving our food preparation and presentation.

Address Customer Complaints

Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.

Prepare Reports

Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A diploma or certificate in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts, and a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Physical Demands

The ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
