Brandt is in search of talented mechanics and assemblers to join their team focused on material handling equipment production. If you possess experience in the assembly of construction and forestry machinery and are passionate about creating high-quality products, this role is tailored for you. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble machinery for construction and forestry in a workshop setting
    • Install hydraulic components and manage hydraulic line routing
    • Assemble a variety of parts including transmissions, tires, axles, large weldments, cylinders, cabs, and grapples
    • Route and install electrical systems
    • Verify and test the quality of the finished product
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings for assembly processes
  • Employ tools, instruments, and computer systems for assembly operations
  • Accurately document machine details, actions performed, and time utilized
  • Maintain safe work practices and uphold quality standards during assembly
  • Utilize software applications to record maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics
  • Perform road tests and assess equipment functionality as required

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant industry experience is highly valued
  • Certification in Heavy-Duty Truck and/or Equipment technician trade is advantageous
  • Prior mechanical experience in a heavy equipment setting is beneficial
  • Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills within a workshop environment
  • Dedication to manufacturing excellence
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as climbing, lifting, standing, and fine motor skills
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds
