Job Title: Head of Programmes

Collage HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programmes to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the portfolio of executing services and projects for LCE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain ownership of the Project Management practice for the company.
  • Own the activities of the Project Teams and be answerable to the President.
  • Assist in establishing organizational policies and procedures to support portfolio, services, and project management.
  • Provide leadership to LCE Project Managers, who will report directly to the Head of Programmes.
  • Act as the first line of issue escalation and resolution for a Project Manager.
  • Support the Project Manager in liaising with stakeholders and strengthening relationships with LCE stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary.
  • Identify and manage escalated project risks and issues.
  • Ensure project and services comply with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience in a software, systems, or other relevant engineering discipline.
  • 10 years' experience in project management/PDO.
  • Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills with Project Management tools and techniques.
  • Experience with subcontract management.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading the development, design, analysis, integration, and test of mission-critical products.
  • Self-motivated leader and team player capable of working with minimum direction.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be eligible for Controlled Goods Regulations Program (CGRP) government clearances and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In addition, candidates must be able to obtain a Canadian Industrial Security Clearance to NATO SECRET level.
