Senior On-Site Service Specialist (SOSS)

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Position Overview

The Senior On-Site Service Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sorting and distribution of correspondence and office materials, including interoffice deliveries and courier services.
  • Facilitate the delivery of printed materials across the client's premises.
  • Coordinate and prepare printing projects, including file conversion, document scanning, and enhancements from initiation to completion.
  • Download and process jobs from digital queues, ensuring accurate sizing, reproduction, sorting, and finishing.
  • Implement and uphold quality control measures to guarantee precision in all tasks.
  • Respond to initial inquiries from equipment users to identify issues, resolve paper jams, conduct test copies, and assess machine status.
  • Conduct regular maintenance visits to all equipment, ensuring cleanliness, toner replenishment, and paper stocking.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to service performance.
  • Maintain logs of equipment downtime, repairs, and usage metrics for all copiers and printers on-site.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mailroom or copy center environment.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to foster business relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on achieving results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs. as required.
