Payroll Specialist

Your Responsibilities:
- Guaranteeing precise and prompt payroll processing, covering deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Exhibiting exceptional attention to detail to reduce discrepancies in financial documentation.
- Effectively managing priorities to meet stringent deadlines.
- Working collaboratively within a dynamic team to achieve common objectives.
- Utilizing Sage 50/300 or similar software for financial operations.
- Preparing T4s and Records of Employment (ROEs).
- Conducting benefit and source tax reconciliations.
- Providing mentorship to junior finance personnel at various locations.
About You:
- Possess the capability to perform the outlined duties.
- Strong understanding of BC Employment Standards related to payroll.
- Experience with both Union and Non-Union payroll systems and benefits.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Sage 50/300 or comparable accounting software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
