Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coding Instructor to join our team. As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coding education to children aged 7-14, creating a positive and safe learning environment, and working closely with parents to ensure their child's progress.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver engaging coding lessons and activities that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and safe learning environment that encourages students to explore and learn.
  • Student Progression: Work with students to determine their skill levels and create personalized learning plans to help them progress.
  • Parent Communication: Provide regular feedback to parents on their child's progress and work closely with them to address any concerns.
  • Center Operations: Assist with daily center operations, including cleaning and maintaining the dojo, and reporting to management on student progress and center activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience Working with Children: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children aged 7 and up, preferably in a teaching or mentoring capacity.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of coding concepts and technologies, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Team Player: A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
