Coding Tutor (Sensei) Job Description

At Code Ninjas of Sharon, ON, we're seeking a skilled Coding Tutor (Sensei) to join our team of passionate educators. As a Sensei, you'll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of coders and problem-solvers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging coding lessons to students aged 7-14
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity and confidence
  • Assess student skill levels and provide personalized feedback
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure a seamless learning experience
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in a teaching or mentoring capacity
  • Strong knowledge of coding principles and concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
