Coding Instructor Position

We are seeking a skilled Coding Instructor to join our team at Code Ninjas of Sharon, ON. As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coding lessons to children aged 7-14, creating a fun and safe learning environment, and mentoring students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver coding lessons to students, adapting to their skill levels and interests
  • Create a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom, encouraging students to ask questions and explore coding concepts
  • Work with students to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized learning plans
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other instructors to develop and implement curriculum
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children aged 7-14, preferably in a coding or educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of coding concepts and programming languages, such as Scratch or Python
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach
  • Knowledge of educational technology and software, such as learning management systems and coding tools
