Code Ninjas of Sharon, ON is a leading provider of coding education for children. Our mission is to empower the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers through fun and interactive coding experiences.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coding Instructor to join our team of educators. As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coding lessons to children aged 7-14, creating a positive and safe learning environment, and working closely with parents to ensure student progress.

Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging coding lessons that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore and learn.
  • Parent Communication: Provide regular feedback to parents on student progress and work closely with them to address any concerns.
  • Center Operations: Assist with daily center operations, including cleaning and maintaining the dojo to corporate standards.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Submit regular reports to the Center Assistant Manager on student progress and productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children aged 7 and up, preferably in a teaching or mentoring role.
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for coding and education.
  • Certifications: Basic knowledge of coding and technology is required, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts.
