Job Summary:

The Ontario Soccer organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Match Officials Development Intern. This internship will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in sports administration, while supporting the development of match officials in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of match officials development programs, including data gathering and analysis.
  • Update and maintain the Ontario Soccer website as required.
  • Respond to communications from the membership in a timely and professional manner.
  • Design, deliver, and analyze surveys on existing and new programs.
  • Assist in inventory and management of equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Ontario Soccer.

Qualifications:

  • Canadian Match Official accreditation or foreign equivalent (an asset but not required).
  • Currently completing post-secondary education in sports administration.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Great initiative and relationship building skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with analytical strengths and effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of common technology and computer platforms (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
