Billing and Customer Service Administrative Clerk

Our journey began in the northern community of Flin Flon, and we have since expanded significantly by diversifying within the transportation sector. The cornerstone of our operations is our dedicated workforce; their safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are currently looking for a Billing and Customer Service Administrative Clerk to support our operations.
Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager, the Billing and Customer Service Administrative Clerk will be responsible for executing a variety of office tasks that encompass billing and customer service to facilitate all terminal functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, helpful, and positive customer service
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipping documents for billing
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, reception duties, tracking, and customer assistance
- Handle phone inquiries and route calls to the appropriate personnel
- Input data regarding completed deliveries into the computer system
- Scan documents for archiving in the imaging system
- Generate and compile reports related to on-time performance for key clients
- Execute additional tasks as assigned to achieve terminal objectives
- Conduct all work safely and adhere to Gardewine's safety practices, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
A secondary education in a relevant field, coupled with prior experience in transportation, is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong organizational abilities, effective time management skills, and a keen attention to detail, all delivered in a friendly and positive customer service manner. Exceptional telephone and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in computerized data entry and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, are required. The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment is also necessary.
