We are currently looking for a Billing and Customer Service Administrative Clerk to support our operations.

Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager, the Billing and Customer Service Administrative Clerk will be responsible for executing a variety of office tasks that encompass billing and customer service to facilitate all terminal functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver courteous, helpful, and positive customer service
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipping documents for billing
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, reception duties, tracking, and customer assistance
  • Handle phone inquiries and route calls to the appropriate personnel
  • Input data regarding completed deliveries into the computer system
  • Scan documents for archiving in the imaging system
  • Generate and compile reports related to on-time performance for key clients
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned to achieve terminal objectives
  • Conduct all work safely and adhere to Gardewine's safety practices, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

A secondary education in a relevant field, coupled with prior experience in transportation, is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong organizational abilities, effective time management skills, and a keen attention to detail, all delivered in a friendly and positive customer service manner. Exceptional telephone and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in computerized data entry and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, are required. The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment is also necessary.
