Job Title: Senior Representative

As a Senior Representative at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships through face-to-face selling and account management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualify accounts by assessing market potential and providing regular sales forecasts.
  • Develop and execute customer account plans in collaboration with management to drive sales revenue growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on billing margin opportunities through value-added services, marketing initiatives, and supplier engagement.
  • Prospect new customers through cold calling and referral channels, and develop leads to drive sales growth.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their product or service needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any post-sale issues.
  • Maintain open communication with existing and previous customers to keep them informed of new products, services, and enhancements.
  • Develop and implement sales and supplier plans to drive account growth and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge through WESCO and supplier training.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop joint sales strategies and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience required
  • Four years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective communicator both written and verbally
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel 50% - 75%
