Job Summary

As a Senior Representative - Outside Sales, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with assigned customers to drive sales growth and margin expansion for Wesco's products and services. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify new business opportunities through market research and customer outreach.
  • Develop and execute customer account plans to drive sales growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience, preferably in the MRO and safety industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
