Position Overview

Lids is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective product knowledge and visual merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through customer service and sales initiatives
  • Meet or exceed company goals in individual statistics, including sales and visual presentation
  • Engage in store maintenance, including sales floor organization and visual displays
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code

Additional Responsibilities

  • Protect company assets and maintain accurate inventory management
  • Participate in store inventory management, including processing shipments and returns
  • Assist in the accurate and timely counting of products
  • Support and follow all Lids retail policies, procedures, and principles

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to read and operate a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder
  • Ability to stand for up to 100% of working time

Compensation and Benefits

Associates start at local minimum wage with up to 10% more based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
