Key Responsibilities

As the Inside Automation Support Specialist at our National Service Centre, you will engage directly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to effectively address issues and enhance customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Automation Manager, your role will involve:

  • Evaluating job specifications and confirming stock availability for orders, suggesting alternative non-stock items as needed.
  • Managing inquiries from Business Unit customers to ensure prompt and effective responses.
  • Preparing quotations and processing orders, ensuring accuracy through generated computer SOPs and maintaining thorough records of all customer transactions.
  • Delivering reliable service and assistance while proactively communicating future needs to relevant departments.
  • Acting as a troubleshooter for customer concerns, providing timely feedback and solutions while taking full ownership of issues.
  • Representing the brand positively, enhancing customer experiences, and supporting sales initiatives while upholding corporate image.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School diploma, along with three (3) years of experience in administrative roles, order entry, and customer service within the industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting instructions and product specifications.
  • Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence for customers.
  • Effective verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone, with a strong grasp of product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with AS400 Computer System is advantageous.
  • Possessing product and application knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for imparting knowledge.
