About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stringed Instrument Repairer to join our team at Sinoman Music Ltd. As a key member of our repair department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of instrument repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose stringed instruments to determine the requirements for repair, using your expertise to identify and recommend the necessary repairs.
  • Repair and Maintain instruments using hand, power, or specially designed tools, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Test and Adjust repaired instruments to ensure they are functioning properly, and calibrate them as needed.
  • Train and Supervise junior technicians and other staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the repair department.
  • Manage Inventory and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, to ensure that the repair department has the necessary resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate and Schedule repair work, prioritizing tasks and managing the workflow to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in stringed instrument repair and maintenance.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, with a focus on repair and maintenance services.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
