About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stringed Instrument Repairer to join our team at Sinoman Music Ltd. As a key member of our repair department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of instrument repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Assess Instruments

Conduct thorough inspections of stringed instruments to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.

Repair and Maintain Instruments

Utilize hand, power, or specially designed tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components.

Test and Adjust Instruments

Thoroughly test and adjust repaired instruments to ensure proper functioning.

Calibrate Instruments

Calibrate instruments using hand tools to ensure optimal performance.

Train and Supervise

Train or arrange for training of junior staff members and supervise projects to ensure high-quality results.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.

Recruit and Hire

Recruit and hire skilled workers and carry out related staffing actions to support the growth of our repair department.

Ensure Quality and Safety

Establish and maintain methods to meet work schedules while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Prepare Reports

Prepare detailed reports on repair activities, maintenance schedules, and other relevant information.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in stringed instrument repair or a related field.

Work Setting

Repair, urban area, service, on-site customer service, maintenance.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

MS Office.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, physically demanding, work under pressure.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, organized, reliability, team player.
