Job Title: Stringed Instrument Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Stringed Instrument Repairer to join our team at Sinoman Music Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining stringed musical instruments to a high standard. This is a permanent position, working 30-44 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect instruments to determine repair requirements
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand, power, or specialized tools
  • Test and adjust repaired instruments for proper functioning
  • Calibrate instruments using hand tools
  • Train or arrange for training of staff
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Recruit and hire staff and carry out related staffing actions
  • Recommend personnel actions
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Prepare reports
  • Coordinate and schedule activities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Manual dexterity

Work Environment

This role will be based in an urban area, working on-site with customers. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
