Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and sales expertise to our customers and partners. This role will involve working closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, as well as providing technical solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales objectives
  • Provide technical support and solutions to customers
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans
  • Act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide technical solutions to customers
  • Provide post-sale technical support to build customer competency and confidence
  • Conduct technical presentations and product updates
  • Attend supplier partner training to maintain a high level of specialized product and application knowledge
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in automation or technical product sales/support
  • Understanding of sales principles such as Strategic Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Conceptual Selling, etc.
  • Technical understanding of electrical circuits and working knowledge of industrial automation
  • Product and application knowledge of Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI's and software
  • Ability to accurately interpret single-line electrical drawings
  • Understanding of industrial networking and Ethernet I/P
