Job Title: Assistant Chef

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Chef to join our team at NOV.8 SUSHI GALORE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with dietary restrictions.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
