Data Administrator Job Description

At Alba Partners Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Data Administrator to join our team. As a Data Administrator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining computer databases, ensuring data security, and providing advice to informatics professionals on database management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Development: Develop and maintain computer databases to store and manage data efficiently.
  • Data Security: Enact measures to prevent unauthorized access to data and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with staff to understand data requirements, collection, and availability.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice to informatics professionals on database management tools and best practices.
  • IT Infrastructure: Setup and maintain IT infrastructure to enable applications to access databases.
  • Testing and Analysis: Test data models and database management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in data administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
