The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they have a positive experience with our restaurant.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding workload. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and walk frequently.
