Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at J.Y Tiling LTD. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to achieve a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using a combination of manual and power tools to ensure accurate alignment and straightness.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles, using hand and power cutting tools to minimize waste and ensure a seamless finish.
  • Install tile strips, mosaics, and other decorative elements to create visually appealing designs.
  • Supervise and train apprentices to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accurate budgets and timelines.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in tile installation, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
  • Permanent employment, working 30-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
