About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our Workplace Solutions team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing innovative solutions that enable our customers to transform their business for the hybrid-cloud era.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Challenge customers to think differently about their technology needs and help them see the value in our solutions.
  • Showcase your growth mindset by seeking to understand our customers' business challenges and designing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and initiatives that drive business outcomes and IT initiatives.
  • Bridge the gap between business outcomes and IT initiatives.
  • Design and implement holistic workplace solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Develop a workplace solutions vision that our customers want to embrace and execute upon.
  • Specify the deliverables of consulting and implementation projects by writing statements of work (SOW) for Softchoice services.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure services are delivered as specified in your statements of work.
  • Take leadership on enabling our sales, pre-sales, and post-sales teams on the value of Softchoice solutions for Hybrid IT.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in selling, architecting, and/or implementing workplace solutions with a focus on Microsoft M365 solutions.
  • Background in Public Sector with a strong background in Canadian or US public sector verticals.
  • The ideal candidate will have existing federal security clearance or the ability to obtain it.
  • Very strong and in-depth understanding of the major components of Microsoft M365.
  • Current Microsoft Certifications will be an asset.
  • Required technologies: Microsoft 365 Productivity and Collaboration, Microsoft 365 Identity and Threat Protection, Microsoft 365 Device and Apps Management, M365 CoPilot.
  • Secondary technologies: Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Governance.
  • Understanding of project management principles and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT.
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical documents with attention to fine detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional cross-functional team collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter and collaborative in business planning.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
