Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Applications Specialist to join our team at SoloPoint Solutions. As an Electrical Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide timely and effective support to customers, addressing their technical inquiries and concerns.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of power electrical equipment and UL Standards & NEC requirements.
    • Apply this expertise to provide solutions that meet customer specifications and requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment and project success.
    • Collaborate with the commercial operations team to strategically plan and execute deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that leverage SoloPoint Solutions' core competencies and values.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience as an Applications Engineer in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Expert-level knowledge of power electrical equipment and UL Standards & NEC requirements.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication, persuasion, and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to travel (up to 40%).
