The Store Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of a Spirit Halloween Consignment Store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. This includes establishing and maintaining guest services, controlling expenses, and managing shrink, merchandising, inventory control, staffing, setup, pack-up, and teardown of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the store, including guest services, sales, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including merchandising and visual displays.
- Manage and control expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
- Monitor and control shrink, including inventory management and loss prevention.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the consignment operator to ensure a successful and profitable store operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours, climb ladders, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
