Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Engineer Technician to join our team at Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting semi-skilled manual maintenance and inspection work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in various buildings operated by REAL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment and facilities by completing tasks including but not limited to repairs, installations, remodeling, inspections, keeping proper records, and reporting concerns.
  • Ensure health and safety is made a priority by reporting all incidents and near misses, conducting hazard assessments, and ensuring equipment and facilities are up to regulation and legislated standards.
  • May be asked on a regular basis to perform work not directly related to the role, for example, electrician's helper.
  • Performing other duties as allocated.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Valid Driver's License must be held and maintained for this position.
  • Demonstrated experience in building maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change to provide quality work.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5th class power engineering certificate.
  • Refrigeration engineers' certificate.
