Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Engineer Technician to join our team at Regina Exhibition Association Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting semi-skilled manual maintenance and inspection work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment and facilities by completing tasks including repairs, installations, remodeling, inspections, keeping proper records, and reporting concerns.
  • Ensure health and safety is made a priority by reporting all incidents and near misses, conducting hazards assessments, and ensuring equipment and facilities is up to regulation and legislated standards.
  • Perform other duties as allocated.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education
  • Valid Driver's License must be held and maintained for this position.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change to provide quality work.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5th class power engineering certificate
  • Refrigeration engineers' certificate

Working Conditions

  • Must be available to work, days, evenings, and weekends depending on operational needs.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
