About the Role

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator (Packaging) to join our production team in the fast-paced cannabis industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing and packaging high-end pre-rolled cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor operating conditions of machines, perform minor preventative maintenance, and escalate performance issues as necessary
  • Ensure full understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to process and equipment
  • Participate in the production of pre-rolls and operate production equipment
  • Perform daily line set-up/line clearance of pre-roll production process and equipment
  • Produce pre-rolls in accordance with Cannabis Act and ensure conformity to product/brand
  • Assist in packaging events of finished product in a fast-paced environment
  • Daily cleaning and sanitization of tools and equipment
  • Quality control and good documentation practices
  • Understand and adhere to Aurora's Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and related documents
  • Understand and comply with Health Canada's Cannabis Act, ISO requirements, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
  • Promote and maintain GDP, GACP, and GMP requirements
  • Recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
