Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Set Up and Adjust Production Machinery: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and precision.
  • Fit and Assemble Components: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Verify Dimensions: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components.
  • Verify Product Dimensions: Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or manufacturing.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines and other machine tools.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, team player, and quick learner.
