As a Machine Operator (Packaging), you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring operating conditions of machines, performing minor preventative maintenance, and escalating performance issues as necessary
  • Full understanding of SOPs relating to process and equipment
  • Participating in the production of pre-rolls and operating production equipment
  • Performing daily line set-up/line clearance of pre-roll production process and equipment
  • Producing pre-rolls in accordance with Cannabis Act and ensuring conformity to product/brand
  • Assisting in packaging events of finished product in a fast-paced environment
  • Daily cleaning and sanitization of tools and equipment
  • Quality control and good documentation practices
  • Understanding and adhering to Aurora's Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and related documents
  • Understanding and complying with Health Canada's Cannabis Act, ISO requirements, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
  • Promoting and maintaining GDP, GACP, and GMP requirements
  • Recognizing unsafe conditions and practices and making corrections to prevent injuries and product loss
  • Other duties as required

  • Knowledge or basic understanding of GDP, GACP, and GMP standards is considered an asset
