Onward Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brake Actuation System Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of innovative brake actuation systems. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, ensuring seamless integration of components within vehicle environments. Your expertise will also be crucial in addressing quality and manufacturing challenges, contributing to the production of reliable and high-performing braking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design and development of advanced brake actuation systems, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure timely program execution and adherence to design guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and resolve quality and build issues, implementing effective solutions to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience in the design and development of brake actuation components within the automotive industry.
  • In-depth understanding of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DVPR (Design Verification Process Review) methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and program management skills, enabling effective collaboration and coordination across diverse teams.
