We are a dynamic and expanding organization in the domestic market, currently seeking a skilled PMA (Preventative Maintenance Agreement) Account Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background and a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm, security, and communication systems.
The successful applicant will be driven, resourceful, and eager to adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate and secure new sales for PMA services and inspections.
- Enhance and expand both new and existing client accounts by reviewing purchasing patterns and proactively reaching out to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Identify and pursue new business prospects leveraging industry connections and expertise.
- Build relationships with property owners, management firms, potential clients, and industry professionals through cold calling, field sales, and direct marketing to promote Mircom's offerings.
- Upsell and sustain service agreements with current clients through a combination of field sales, telemarketing, and promotional efforts.
- Craft innovative solutions utilizing Mircom's products and services to effectively address customer requirements.
- Formulate a competitive pricing strategy based on market insights and customer intelligence.
- Sell new service agreements across all company offerings.
- Engage directly with clients to ascertain their needs and facilitate the overall sales process.
- Prepare proposals for service agreements, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Provide accurate sales quotes to clients in alignment with company pricing policies.
- Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their current and future needs and responding promptly.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company services while communicating market pricing, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of all product lines and services available.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in B2B sales with robust prospecting capabilities, including cold calling.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong drive and enthusiasm.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building and customer service.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements.
- Advanced sales skills with the ability to create tailored customer solutions.
- Initiative to go beyond job requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience, particularly in the fire and life safety sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Post-secondary education in sales or a technical field.
- Exceptional presentation abilities.
- Experience in preparing detailed quotes.
- Knowledge of the fire alarm industry, relevant technologies, and applicable codes is advantageous.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
- Must reside within the province.
