Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist. This position entails managing specific projects or cases related to patient reimbursement and coordination. Working closely with pharmacists, the specialist will oversee patient cases and serve as the primary contact for healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all necessary steps to secure prescription drug coverage for patients;
  • Collaborate with insurance companies, physicians, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions;
  • Handle documentation and submissions to insurance companies and funding programs;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clinics;
  • Coordinate pharmacy processes post-funding approval;
  • Develop a thorough understanding of public and private funding mechanisms;
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential;
  • Experience in a reimbursement role is advantageous;
  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or insurance is beneficial;
  • A minimum of 2 years in customer service is required;
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications;
  • Professional and courteous telephone communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively;
  • Effective problem-solving skills;
  • Innovative thinking approach;
  • Availability for rotating shifts during operational hours.
