Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all client needs are met.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development, working closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that all accounts are properly underwritten and that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Manage and resolve any client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, ensuring that the company remains competitive and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years' experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in commercial insurance.
  • RIBO License and a post-secondary degree or diploma in Insurance, Business, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
