- Computer proficiency, with experience in insurance-specific software and a strong understanding of risk management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage new business workflows and ensure timely delivery of renewals.
- Review and issue certificates of insurance, and accurately handle change requests.
- Function as a front-line underwriter, qualifying, maintaining, and promoting sound quality business.
- Support clients with reporting claims and follow up in a timely manner.
- Manage account receivables and work closely with account executives to identify cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years' experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in commercial insurance.
- RIBO License and a post-secondary degree or diploma in insurance, business, finance, administration, or a related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high regard for attention to detail, confidentiality, and respect.
- Computer proficiency, with experience in insurance-specific software and a strong understanding of risk management principles.
