As a Property Claims Specialist II, you will be tasked with the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of intermediate property, farm, and commercial claims. This position offers the chance to deepen your expertise in more intricate claims and policies while delivering outstanding support to our clients both over the phone and in person. Your daily interactions with clients and your support of innovative, client-focused solutions will significantly contribute to our client service culture.

How you will create impact:

  • Conducting investigations, interpreting coverage, negotiating, and making autonomous decisions to resolve intermediate property, farm, and commercial claims.
  • Assessing damage and preparing estimates for property losses, including visiting the site of the loss.
  • Collaborating with vendors and government representatives to facilitate the settlement of claims.
  • Mentoring, training, and providing technical assistance to the claims team.
  • Delivering exceptional client service in line with our claims service and quality standards, aiming to position the organization as an industry leader in client engagement.

To join our team:

  • You possess 3+ years of experience in property claims or a related field.
  • You have or are willing to pursue the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • You are passionate about assessing and resolving customer-centric issues and excel in managing priorities.
  • Familiarity with construction, estimating, and estimating systems is advantageous.

What you need to know:

  • Regular travel will be required.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle, and clean driving record are necessary.
  • You will be responsible for on-call rotational coverage.
  • This role involves direct interaction with clients and/or service providers in their environments.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary during peak periods and significant events.
  • Potential exposure to health and safety hazards, including chemicals, noise, dust, and debris.
  • A background check will be conducted as a condition of employment for successful candidates.
