Director of Training

We are seeking a visionary leader to develop a flagship Young Life Club ministry in the North Shore area. This individual will be responsible for training a team of college-aged volunteer leaders to reach every kid in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with un-churched high school and middle school students, as well as experience in recruiting and training volunteer leaders. Additionally, they will be skilled in fundraising and working with adults.

The North Shore area offers a unique opportunity for ministry, with a strong presence of Gordon College and a growing need for youth ministry in the surrounding towns.

This is a full-time position that requires a strategic and collaborative leader who can build relationships with local churches, schools, and community organizations to advance the mission of Young Life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry strategy for the North Shore area
  • Train and equip a team of volunteer leaders to reach high school and middle school students
  • Recruit and engage local churches and community organizations in support of the ministry
  • Secure funding and resources to support the ministry

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working with un-churched youth and volunteer leaders
  • Ability to build relationships with local churches and community organizations
  • Strong fundraising and budgeting skills
