Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure aircraft are consistently maintained in a condition that is airworthy and ready for dispatch.
  • Verify that all replacement components are inspected, certified, and suitable for installation.
  • Properly tag and quarantine removed parts.
  • Confirm that all work performed on aircraft or components adheres to the applicable manufacturer's standards, Canadian Aviation Regulations, and company policies.
  • Sign off on completed work and review documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Assist in the training and development of personnel through on-the-job instruction.
  • Conduct independent checks and receiving inspections as authorized.
  • Maintain current training qualifications at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid TCCA AME license in a recognized discipline, along with relevant experience and aircraft type training.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with commercial or military aircraft is preferred.
  • Background in Line Maintenance within a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
  • Must meet Level II Clearance requirements with the Canadian Government and be eligible for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
