Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crew Chief to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of aircraft maintenance technicians and engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of aircraft maintenance technicians and engineers in the performance of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Coordinate the assignment of personnel to maximize production flow and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and coaching to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other aspects of the business.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in aviation maintenance operations, with a focus on leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Valid Transport Canada M2 license, an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of AMS, an asset.
  • Proven track record of supporting and leading safe operations, including OHS, Flight Safety, procedures, and Human Factors.
Working Conditions
  • Travel may be required for this position, including international travel.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules according to flight operations.
Security Clearance Requirements

This position requires II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program or equivalent in the U.S. or NATO.
