Your Role

BDO Digital is in search of a new Lead Manager for our Ceridian Dayforce Practice, with the flexibility to work remotely across Canada. As one of the pioneering partners of Ceridian's Dayforce System Integrator for HCM, BDO has built a robust presence in North America, recognized as one of Ceridian's key partners. Our team is expanding rapidly, and the Lead Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure project execution aligns with BDO's quality standards and project management protocols, while meeting overall project timelines.
  • Collaborate with BDO industry leaders, the Ceridian Dayforce Practice Leader, and the National Technology Leader to develop a strategic market plan aimed at enhancing BDO's footprint in the HCM sector and expanding our opportunity pipeline.
  • Enhance the delivery team's capabilities by attracting seasoned Dayforce professionals to BDO and nurturing talent new to the Dayforce ecosystem.
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives, utilizing the core team to prepare and present proposals, sales support materials, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
  • Oversee project financials, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
  • Stay informed on current trends in HCM processes and technologies, applying this knowledge to strengthen BDO's position in the Canadian HCM market.
  • Foster a positive team culture by embodying optimism and curiosity.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role managing a practice or team within a consulting or professional services firm, particularly in cloud technology implementations. Experience in overseeing teams focused on HCM or ERP implementations is preferred (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Workday, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP).
  • Experience in managing HCM or ERP project delivery.
  • Experience in driving sales initiatives, business development, demonstrations, and proofs of concept is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of project financials and governance to ensure quality and mitigate risks.
  • Experience in communicating effectively with C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to attract talent, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong listening and communication skills, both orally and in writing, with clients and colleagues.
