- Program Development: Work with the park interpreter to create engaging outdoor education and program opportunities for local schools and the general public.
- Social Media: Utilize social media platforms to connect with the community, share conservation values, and promote the park's activities.
- Park Operations: Balance multiple tasks and priorities, ensure safety and quality standards, and create staff schedules.
- Leadership Experience: A strong desire to lead, motivate, and supervise a team, with a commitment to top performance in a safe work environment.
- Environmental Knowledge: Knowledge relating to local flora and fauna is considered an asset, although not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks at times.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills in corporate and casual settings, with the ability to communicate strategically with staff, community, senior managers, and executives.
- Education and Experience: A related post-secondary education in Hospitality/Tourism, Forestry, Environmental Management, Biology, or equivalent is considered an asset, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
