About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Robba da Matti. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Special Diets: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, as well as special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
