Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Culinary Expert to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Menu Planning: Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations, including training and development of team members.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen performance.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Culinary Experience: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen environment.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- Passion for Cooking: A genuine passion for cooking and a desire to continuously learn and improve culinary skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing kitchen environments and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
